We arrived safe and sound at our home in northern Idaho, after 2200 miles of road trip. Two hundred of that was a side venture to see Estes Park, which never disappoints. An hour spent there, eating at an outdoor table, along with seeing the massive elk that wander through the town at will - I wish it could be bottled and prescribed for whatever ails the soul.
We've still got a few piles of stuff here and there, but we're mostly unpacked, and the fridge has been refilled.
As soon as we arrived, we spent some time keeping grands alive while their parents slipped away for some R&R, then helped the other daughter's family get moved.
Yes, we're a little tired.

Spotted him this past weekend - hope he caught something. |
Every day we're feeling a bit more caught up, and rested, and settled in. Temperatures may hit 80, humidity is low. So no complaints on our part. We're excited to have a lazy summer with our family, friends, books and not much else.
