Would You Rather.......

Isn't impromptu just the best thing about summer? 

About supper time last night our kids showed up, and asked us to grab dinner with them at a local place around the corner. Go as you are.

So of course we said yes!

Then after dinner of BBQ and corn on the cob and mac and cheese, which was likely about a gabillion calories, and may have included a slice of coconut cream pie, the grands asked if we could go out for ice cream.

Calories be damned, of course we can.

Because isn't that what summer is for? Calories and impromptu gatherings and playing silly games and laughing your head off.

I read somewhere that someday your kids won't care what their parents looked like in photos, but just that they were in photos. That they were present in the moment, instead of posing for the perfect selfie.

This is shoot milk out your nose funny. Perfect for all ages. 

And side note - if you want to pick up a fun game to play with family and friends, buy 'Would You Rather'. We played the game that didn't include a board, and it was howlingly funny, obviously.

Thanks to my sweet DIL for capturing the evening in photos. She and the two little grands were there, across the table, hooting with laughter too. And possibly the people seated next to us were a bit relieved when we all moved on, but it was the best evening!
